A Little About this Site
In General
This site was built using Progressive Enhancement on POSH. I started with building out the architecture (content), then added CSS for layout. Once I had the layout (structure), I began adding color and visual enhancements with CSS. After the 'look and feel' were established (aesthetics), I began adding unobtrusive functionality (behavior) with home-grown DOM scripting and the inclusion of jQuery support.
Purpose
It's primarily a repository for all of those things I constantly reference in my day to day work. The latest thing I am teaching myself is jQuery, so this site will become a playground for that development as well. Feel free to garnish anything from this site that I have not otherwise asked you not to. The site as an entity is copyrighted, but (most of) the content I am more than happy to share. After all, a lot of what is here began as an idea from somewhere else.
Usage Notes
External Links marked with this icon will replace the content of this (current) browser instance. Links that generate a pop up window are marked with this icon. Links that simply generate a new browser instance have the statement "(opens in a new window)" added to the end of them.
Rather than going into all of the 'featurettes' of this site, have some fun poking around, turning off JavaScript and such. Of course, if
you run into something way-bad that I have missed, please, by all means, notify me of my ignorance
